Privacy
ReleaseNoteKit stores the email you sign up with, the GitHub repo URL you submit, the commits we fetch from the GitHub API for changelog generation, and the generated output (markdown, HTML, tweet thread, email digest).
What we do not store
- Your GitHub credentials. We never ask for your account password or personal token.
- Source code from your repos. We only read commit messages and metadata.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record.
Public changelog pages
When you publish a release, the changelog and project name become publicly readable at/p/<your-slug>. You can unpublish at any time.
We use Resend to deliver dashboard links and release notifications. We do not send marketing email.
